| Interstate
Move - State-to-State move, within the
continental USA. Intrastate Move - Within a State. Local Move - Within a county. Off-Shore - US islands, Hawaii & Alaska. International Move - From one country to another. O/I - Office and Industrial move. In-House Move - Moving within a building, from one floor to another. Long Carry - The extra distance over the first 75 feet, from the closest truck access to the entrance of the dwelling. Stair Carry - The extra outside steps over the first 7 steps. Shuttle - When the truck cannot get close enough for a long carry, there is a smaller truck used to "shuttle" the goods from dwelling to truck. Carrier Pack - When the Atlas agent does all the packing of household articles in boxes. Appliance Service - The disconnect and/or connection of ice makers, dryers, washing machines, etc. Owner Pack - When the owner gets all their cartons and packs the household goods themselves. Tariff - The pricing index that the trucking company uses. 3rd Party Services - A service provided when special needs are needed, i.e. grandfather clocks, building of crates, shranks, etc. Valuations - Basic coverage is weight X .cents per pound, per article declared value coverage, full value protection.
